I used to boast about how simple it is, but as per usual, with the ever-evolving landscape of technology and the Internet, this is no longer true. I would recommend you visit our Wiki to learn more about the world, its core concepts, and some of the locations before creating your character. In the future, the Wiki will also have guides for the various websites that crop up around AI characters.

  • Anyone can contribute by actively engaging in conversations with the AI Characters and expressing your opinions on our Discord server.   • The short answer? Absolutely. The long answer? The AI Characters are the main collaborative aspect of the project. Things that are canon to the world and storyline presented are solely the decision of the author(s) of the world and it’s corresponding lore. At this time, there are only a small handful of us - but in the future, there may be more authors that add directly to the canon of the world. That’s the fun part of a collaborative project - that it’s open in nature and capable of change.     Character Creation Guidelines

    Q: Can I create my own characters?
    A: Yes! Community members can design original characters, but they must align with Eldrahn’s established lore and adhere to these guidelines:

    1. Respect Lore Boundaries – Characters should fit within the existing Eldrahn universe, following its themes, historical context, and magic system. While creativity is encouraged, submissions must remain cohesive within established lore.

    2. Grimdark Themes vs. Excessive Gore – Eldrahn Online embraces a grimdark tone, meaning characters can have morally complex backgrounds, experience brutal conflicts, and exist within a harsh world. However, excessively violent, gratuitously gory, or shock-driven content that lacks narrative depth will not be accepted.

    3. Ethical & Age Restrictions – Characters depicting children are strictly prohibited. All characters must be adults or non-human entities that do not resemble children.

    4. Avoid Real-World Harmful Parallels – Eldrahn is a fantasy setting, and characters must remain within that scope. Avoid creating personas based on real-world ideologies that promote harm, exploitation, or unnecessary cruelty beyond the grimdark aesthetic.

    5. Fictional Integrity – Characters should align with Eldrahn’s themes without promoting real-world violence or harmful stereotypes. Dark themes should contribute to meaningful storytelling rather than exist purely for shock value.

    6. Alignment with Eldrahn’s Magic System – If your character utilizes magic, ensure their abilities follow Eldrahn’s defined magic system, including limitations on spellcasting, energy sources, and artifacts.

    7. Respect Community & Roleplay Standards – Characters should enhance collaborative storytelling, remain lore-consistent, and avoid disruptive elements that derail meaningful interactions.

    8. Submission Review Process – All characters undergo a review to determine if they align with core lore. Depending on their compatibility, they may be categorized as canon, canon-compatible, or non-canon.

    By following these guidelines, contributors can create immersive and complex characters that fit Eldrahn’s grimdark aesthetic while maintaining storytelling depth and ethical standards.

    The creators of Eldrahn do not endorse anything that involves recreations of real-world devices meant to cause harm. While the nature of the world of Eldrahn is to create an immersive, realistic take on fantasy and the Isekai / litRPG genre, we do not tolerate the use of AI in a harmful way. This includes using our AI to create anything that could be used to cause mass harm, or any device described by the series. Remember - everything that any AI characters say is fictional. Do not take our AI characters word as fact, and do not attempt to create anything that is described by them. Any creator found violating the children of Eldrahn will have swift justice delivered to them by their local authorities. We will not tolerate use of AI for CSAM/CSEM material of any form.
